Russell Hendricks is a recently graduated researcher who has a PHD in Biotechnology and is a rising star at Northside Biotech. Russell's company is funded by government grants and is being acquired by Halloway, a commercial company focused on growing by acquiring promising Biotech companies. Russell is set to profit nicely from the acquisition through a large bonus and promotion. Russell gets a call from an old colleague and he learns that something isn't quite right with Halloway. When this old colleague is brutally murdered, Russell finds himself with Lydia who is his colleague’s friend and they are on the run from unknown assailants. Russell and Lydia find out that a US Senator is involved with Halloway and is using insider information to influence buying decisions. The senator's men will stop at nothing to keep the senator's involvement in Halloway a secret. Russell must decide whether to be a good company man and take the money or whether he should take the path of exposing the senator and his involvement with murder.
