.01 How do I start?
First of all you have to select the design pack that is more suited to you – you can choose between an e-book cover, a paperback cover, or both. Then you must fill the briefing form and give us all the information required to design your book cover. Once the form is filled, you will be redirect to the payment page (by PayPal) and only after paying the 50% deposit the design process will take place.
.02 I have completed the briefing form and paid the deposit. What happens next?
When you pay the deposit the briefing will be sent to us and we will start to work on your cover. We will then present you two drafts so you can choose the one you prefer and, based on your feedback, we will develop the cover´s final concept together. This is a dynamic process where your opinion is taken into account to guide us to the perfect final design.
.03 When do I receive my cover?
The final version will be sent to you only after your approval and the remaining 50% balance of the design fee is paid. The cover will be sent in an high-resolution file ready to upload.
.04 I have paid the deposit and I don’t like either of the two concepts presented. Can I get a refund?
Before your money is refunded we will present one more draft based on your feedback for the first two concepts. If you accept the third concept, than we will develop it until you are fully satisfied with the final cover. Otherwise, if you still don´t like the third concept, we will proceed with refunding the deposit.
.05 What does the price include?
Besides the cover in an high-resolution file, the price includes the use of royalty-free images from Shutterstock.com - the license of the images is limited to 250,000 prints or sales (in E-book case). The unlimited use of each image can be provided for an additional cost.
.06 The cover will be sent in which file?
The final document will be delivered in a Jpeg file (e-book cover) or a print- ready PDF file (ready to upload to Createspace or other printer) and, depending on the pack, a 3D image of the paperback cover for promotional purposes (e-book + print cover design pack only). Other options can be considered by request.
.07 Does the price includes editable files?
No. If you wish to have the editable files of your cover it will cost an additional $50.
.08 Can you create a special character for the cover?
If you think that your cover needs a particular character, or group of characters, it can be created with an additional design cost that starts at $100 and increases based on its complexity. We recommend sending an e-mail for a quote for this service before submitting your brief and paying the deposit.
.09 Is it possible to use an image that I already have in the cover?
Yes, but it must be an high-resolution image and you must have the rights to use it in the book cover (and send any required documentation to us along with the image).
.10 Can I use both drafts for different books?
The price only includes the final cover design. If you want to purchase other designs we recommend sending us an e-mail so we can assess any special requests. The package design fees only include the rights to the final cover and NOT any of the drafts presented in the development process. Additionally, rights to the final design are not transferred until payment of the remaining 50% balance is made.
.11 Can I buy an e-book cover now and later convert it into a print cover?
Yes. You can ask later for the print version of your e-book cover at an additional design cost of $100.
.12 Does the Print Cover Pack include the hardcover dust jacket design?
No. It includes the back and spine designed for a trade paperback. Hardcover dust jacket design including both inner flaps will have an additional cost of $80.
.13 Can I give the cover briefing by phone?
No. The briefing is given only through the online form and any communication with us must be made by e-mail. With clients located throughout the world and often in different times zones, this allows us to be efficient and maintain a clear dialogue via e-mail throughout the design process.
.14 Do you offer extra design services suited for promotions?
Yes, we offer a series of other design services available for for promotional use such as a Facebook cover, Web banner or Poster. Other design services and their individual costs are available on the extras page.
.15 I am a regular costumer. Can I get a discount?

.16 Can I pay with my credit card?
The payments are accepted solely through PayPal, which does include a pay by credit card option within PayPal.
