Book I
Rebecca Bevan, a young lawyer from California is on a Red Eye flight set for New York to woo a prominent client for her firm. Feeling alone and dejected after recently ending a forbidden tryst with her boss, she's comforted by a stranger she met on the plane.
Devon Caesar, a Billionaire's son and a successful attorney in his own right. Was on the Red Eye with a mission and it was not to meet Rebecca and it was not to get distracted by her beauty.
But little do they know while Rebecca and Devon are on the same flight. They also happen to be chasing the same client and maybe, they were destined to meet each other.
Book II
Now that Rebecca has found out her ex-husband Rick is working for the firm she finds herself not knowing what to do or whether she’s coming or going. Rick knows too much about her past. A past, that could ruin all that she’s worked so hard to build and he’s using what he knows it to his advantage.
Meanwhile, Devon sends both Rick and Rebecca out to deal with a case faraway not knowing about her past or that Rick is Rebecca’s ex and he finds himself fighting for Rebecca’s affections. Something has changed. He feels something isn’t right but he can’t put his finger on the reason.
Book III
Now that Devon has proposed to Rebecca and with her accepting. Things are looking up for the couple and their future. Rick's still working for the firm but he has kept his head down until he hears the news about the engagement. He decides that he needs to take action and revenge and goes to Grayson Caesar with what he knows about Rebecca - including the fact that they slept together while Devon and Rebecca were still together.
Grayson tells Rebecca that she needs to leave Devon, and leave the firm. He threatens to tell Devon everything he knows so Rebecca leaves cause she has no choice hoping that she can start over.
